POTTSTOWN PA – A lane closure is planned Sunday through Friday (June 25-30, 2023) during overnight hours on portions of East High Street from Limerick, through Lower Pottsgrove, and into Pottstown, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reported. Crews will be working to seal the road, it added.
The lane restriction is scheduled each night during the six-day period from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. It will affect East High Street from Township Line Road in Limerick, across Lower Pottsgrove, to Keim Street in the borough.
Drivers in the work area are advised by PennDOT to allow extra travel time, because it said slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather, the agency added..
The project is one of several intended to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state-owned highway across the Philadelphia region, at a cost of about $134 million. The work is expected to seal the roads and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
