LIMERICK PA – Two different construction activities have been scheduled on U.S. Route 422 during the coming week in Limerick, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
- A left-lane closure is planned for Monday through Friday (June 12-16, 2023) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on eastbound 422, between its Limerick and Royersford interchanges, for guide rail repair; and
- Lane closures are scheduled Friday (June 16) in both directions on Evergreen and Old Township Line roads, between the 422 interchange and Ridge Pike for bridge inspection.
PennDOT said the work will ensure the safety and overall condition of state highways.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. Slowdowns may occur, the agency added. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.
