POTTSTOWN PA – An October reception for participating artists will launch the 2026 edition of the Pottstown Area Artists Guild Members Show.
The annual exhibit showcases “inspiring artists from across the region,” guild members say. Their original works will be on display beginning Oct. 30 (Friday) from 5-7 p.m.
The launch will be held in the North Hall Gallery, on the Pottstown campus of Montgomery County Community College (MCCC).
The gallery, at 16 E. High St., also will host the reception for the show’s artists on the same day and time. Both the exhibit and reception are free to attend and open to the public.

Artists Helping Others
During the reception, the guild hopes to collect packaged food items donations as part of a food drive assisting those in need. Collected items will be delivered to the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities food pantry.
To make the evening even more festive, its members invite visitors to arrive dressed as their favorite artist or painting.
The show runs to Nov. 20 (Friday). The guild reports visitors “can expect a dynamic display of fine art.” Entries will span multiple mediums, including oils, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, photography, ceramics, and others.
Public viewing is available during the gallery’s regular operating hours: Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The gallery is closed Saturdays and Sundays. Free parking, and parking designated for disabled use, are nearby on the campus grounds.
An Insightful Afternoon Beyond
Beyond the opening, the guild additionally plans to offer an exhibit-related “insightful afternoon” on Nov. 14 (Saturday). Five of its artist-members are scheduled to share stories about their art from 2-4 p.m.
The talks also will be held at the gallery. Those who attend are encouraged to ask questions of the speakers, and be part of the conversation.
The Pottstown Area Artists Guild is a dedicated community of artists and art supporters. Established in 1960, the guild says its members are “committed to promoting the visual arts and enriching the cultural landscape of the Pottstown region.”
Its exhibitions and community outreach efforts are part of that commitment, it adds. The 66th anniversary members’ show is a highly anticipated event.
