POTTSTOWN PA – The weather-delayed Pottstown Community Arts annual chalk fest is returning, and visitors can celebrate Christmas in July too. Both are part of a rare evening event at the Pottstown Farm and Artisan Regional Market (FARM).
FARM and the chalk fest are free to attend and enjoy. They will simultaneously open to the public Saturday (July 25, 2026) from 5-8 p.m. at Smith Family Plaza, 138 E. High St. “Come celebrate the holidays a little early with us,” Pottstown FARM volunteers suggest.
“Why wait until the weather is cold and things are sold out?,” they add. “Join us for our summer Santa, vendor specials, and other activities. Look for hidden snowmen, and get a chance to win a Visa (gift) card.” Visitors also can take a photo selfie with Santa.

Dusty Fun at Chalk Fest 6.0
While parents and other adults browse the goods of FARM vendors, children can go be creative at the revived 6th annual Chalk Fest. It originally was scheduled by Pottstown Community Arts for June 27, but was canceled due to rain.
Now volunteers for the organization, a committee of the borough-based MOSAIC Community Land Trust, say they are again prepared for a crowd of kids with three hours of fun.
Anyone from talented artists to dedicated doodlers can show off on-the-spot creations. All the chalk anyone needs is being supplied. There’s plenty of space for creating masterpiece visions as well, they add.
“All you have to do,” the committee suggests, “is bring your imagination.”
Attend Pottstown FARM Through October
FARM this year has been operating since May, on every other Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Free parking is available at the magistrate parking lot adjacent to Smith Family Plaza and the former train station.
Six remaining nutrition-filled Pottstown FARM events are scheduled through October, its website reports. On its calendar are:
- Aug. 8, with its feature activity to be announced;
- Aug. 22, observing National Bee Month;
- Sept. 5, butterfly tagging, and enjoying the 2026 return of the annual L’oe Show automotive weekend;
- Sept. 19, Zucchini Festival and Races;
- Oct. 3, a fun Saturday with neighbors and friends; and
- Oct. 17, the return of the annual Halloween Fun at the FARM event, accompanied by the Haunts On High!
