POTTSTOWN PA – Fête en Blanc, the borough’s dress-all-in-white outdoor dining tradition, returns Sept. 11 (2026; Friday) from 6-9 p.m. at Smith Family Plaza, 138 E. High St., the Pottstown Business Improvement District Management Association reports.
The event expects to attract about 700 guests “for an elegant end-of-summer evening in the heart of downtown,” according to an association media release.
It is modeled after what Forbes Magazine states are traditional “Dinner in White” events held in dozens of cities and more than 30 countries worldwide. The first was reported in Paris in 1988.
Pottstown’s own “memorable evening of dining, music, community, and celebration” will also commemorate the terrorist attacks on America that occurred 25 years ago, on Sept. 11, 2001.
The evening will be hosted by Pottstown Area Economic Development. Eleven percent of proceeds from the dinner will be donated to support first responders in the borough’s fire companies.
Guests are being encouraged “to make the evening even more special” by ordering food from one of Pottstown’s restaurants. “This support helps celebrate the hospitality and small businesses that strengthen our community,” the association adds.
Tickets are required. Reservations are available in advance online, or by sending an e-mail to pottstownfete@gmail.com. Tickets include tables, chairs, and table linens.
Attendees should bring their own plates, napkins, silverware, cups, water, food, and beverages. Pottstown’s Not Pizza beverages will be available for purchase during the event.
Tickets are non-refundable. There is no rain date for the event, organizers note. For more information, send an e-mail to pottstownfete@gmail.com.
