KING OF PRUSSIA PA – The sacrifice and legacy of America’s fallen military heroes will be honored Monday (May 25, 2026), beginning at 11 a.m., during an annual Memorial Day Remembrance Service at Washington Memorial Chapel, 2000 Valley Forge Park Rd.
The special commemoration will open with a solemn Choral Matins. It “pays tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States,” the chapel reports. With sacred music and prayer, it acknowledges “the courage and sacrifice of those who paid the ultimate price to protect America’s freedom.”
Retired Army chaplain and Lt. Col. the Rev. Tim Steeves will serve as guest speaker. His talk will present a “deeply personal understanding of military service, sacrifice, and faith.”
The service is sponsored by the Washington Memorial Veterans Commission, which invites community attendance. It describes Memorial Day as “one of the most sacred observances our nation shares. It is a time to pause, reflect, and honor the men and women who laid down their lives for our country.”
