Milling, Paving Work Scheduled for 12 Pottstown Streets

Royersford, Limerick, Lower Frederick Road Work Resumes

October 14, 2023

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Road work involving resurfacing, planned to occur between Sunday and Friday (Oct. 15-20, 2023), may affect drivers on portions of roads in Royersford, Limerick, and Lower Frederick.

The road work is part of repair and paving projects on more than 200 miles of state highway in southeastern Pennsylvania, the King of Prussia office of the state Department of Transportation reported.

Scheduled projects include:

  • A lane closure Sunday overnight from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.; and Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, for milling and paving on Lewis Road, between Linfield Trappe Road and Main Street in Royersford Borough and Limerick township; and
  • A lane closure Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, for milling and paving on Yerger Road, between Neiffer and Gerloff roads in Lower Frederick Township.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. Slowdowns will occur, PennDOT warned. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.

PennDOT contractors are repairing, milling and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement. The road work is intended to seal and improve highway riding surfaces.
