COLLEGEVILLE PA – Dunkin’ observed the grand re-opening Sept. 9 (2023; Saturday) of its refurbished Collegeville restaurant, 407 2nd Ave., with limited time give-aways to customers and activities for families and children.
The company told the first 100 customers in line at 9 a.m. they would receive “Free Coffee for A Year give-aways.” Its event also was scheduled to include a Dunkin’ prize wheel with branded give-aways, a face painter, balloon twister, a guest DJ performance, and Dunkin’s mascot “Cuppy.”
A 10 a.m. official ribbon-cutting ceremony featured Dunkin’ franchisee Eyad Takiedine with the presentation of a $3,000 donation to Med Global. The newly remodeled Collegeville location represents what Dunkin’ calls its “next generation” restaurants. The company said they feature a modern design with an “engaging environment; a new, warm interior color palette, atmospheric lighting,” a convenient drive-thru, complimentary wireless Internet service, and an beverage tap system.
Dunkin’, founded in 1950, claims to be the largest coffee and donuts brand in the United States, with more than 13,200 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets.
