Seven Lane Closures This Week on Local Highways

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Resurfacing operations are expected to require lane closures during the coming week in portions of Pottstown and Royersford boroughs, and West Pottsgrove, Lower Pottsgrove, and Limerick townships in Montgomery County.

Also potentially affected by lane closures are travelers in Phoenixville Borough, and Charlestown and East Whiteland townships in Chester County.

The work schedule in Montgomery County includes:

  • On Sunday (Sept. 10) overnight from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure on High Street, between Manatawny Street and the Berks County line across Pottstown Borough and West Pottsgrove Township, for sealing operations;
  • On Monday through Friday (Sept. 11-15) overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure on High Street, between Manatawny Street and the Berks County line across Pottstown Borough and West Pottsgrove Township, for sealing operations;
  • On Tuesday through Friday (Sept. 12-15) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure on Lewis Road, between Linfield Trappe Road and Main Street across Royersford Borough and Limerick Township, for milling and paving; and
  • On Wednesday through Friday (Sept. 13-15) overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure on High Street, between Pleasant View Road and Roland Street across Pottstown Borough and Lower Pottsgrove Township, for sealing operations.

The work schedule in Chester County includes:

  • On Sunday (Sept. 10) overnight from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure on Route 29, between U.S. 30 and Phoenixville Pike in East Whiteland and Charlestown townships, for milling and paving;
  • On Monday through Friday (Sept. 11-15) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure on Route 29, between U.S. 30 and Phoenixville Pike in East Whiteland and Charlestown townships, for casting adjustments, milling, and paving; and
  • On Monday through Friday (Sept. 11-15) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on Route 23, between Route 113 and Route 29 in Phoenixville Borough, for casting adjustments and paving.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. Slowdowns will occur, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.

The chance for disruptions was announced by the PennDOT District 6 office in King of Prussia.
