KING OF PRUSSIA PA – The alleged passing of reportedly counterfeit cash at the Valley Forge Casino Resort, 1160 First Ave., is currently under investigation by Pennsylvania state troopers, their agency says.
It reports a male, so far unidentified, on July 5 (Sunday) at 12:40 a.m. “passed a suspected counterfeit $100 bill at a table game” in the casino. An investigation into the theft is ongoing.
The troopers are working at the casino on assignment by the Harrisburg PA-based state police Bureau of Gaming Enforcement. The forgery/counterfeiting incident was one of several reports distributed Monday (July 13, 2026) via e-mail by the bureau.
The reports cover the period of July 2-10, and also include other incidents.

What Got Left Behind
A suspected controlled substance was found on the casino floor during daytime hours on Independence Day, according to a troopers’ report. The exact nature of the substance was not identified at the time. The found drug property is under investigation, the report adds.
Where Did The Money Go?
A 35-year-old Philadelphia PA woman has been arrested on a charge of alleged theft of lost or mislaid property. Troopers say she “punched” a slot machine and received a $137 credit voucher that belonged to a 66-year-old Chester Springs PA man.
State police note that he left temporarily left the machine when he “walked away” to claim another prize elsewhere.
In a separate and unrelated incident, a 51-year-old Mont Clare PA man was said to have “abandoned” a casino-floor slot machine voucher worth $30 and change. Troopers said a different man, so far unidentified, took the voucher only four minutes later. Then he “exited” the casino.
Charged With Trespass
Two casino patrons, who state police alleged should not have entered or were banned from the facility for a variety of legal reasons, were charged with trespass. Included are a man, age 50, from Mount Carmel NY; and a man, age 20, from Lower Gwynedd PA.
