A Plymouth Meeting PA resident who is missing $200, following a visit to the casino, hopes troopers can help recover her money.
According to their report, the 21-year-old female said she dropped the missing cash on the floor of the casino during a mid-May visit. It allegedly was then picked up by an unidentified suspect.
The money apparently has yet to be returned or found. Troopers are investigating the circumstances as a potential theft of lost or mislaid property.
Slot Machine Damaged
Troopers say they continue to probe into the cause of damage to the play button of a slot machine. It was discovered by a casino employee during late May.
A review of surveillance evidence conducted by troopers prompted them to investigate the alleged involvement of a 40-year-old male Royersford PA resident. The man had not been charged at the time their report on the incident was issued.
The monetary amount of damage to the slot machine was stated as “unknown.” However the report indicates charges, if brought, could represent an incident of criminal mischief resulting in a cost of $1,000 or more.
