June 5, 2026

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Call it soccer. Call it fútbol. Either way, call it a good time from June 30 until July 4 (Tuesday through Saturday), the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board says. Its e-mail, distributed Friday, promoted “The Montco Watch Party” at the King of Prussia Mall.

The mall is preparing to host 1,000 people for each of two World Cup matches over the five-day period, a total of 10 in all. The public can register online for seats at the party, and attend for free. Free parking is available, too, for up to 1,300 vehicles.

Each of the roughly 1,000-member crowds can watch early or late matches televised on two huge outdoor video screens. Matches are scheduled for:

  • Tuesday, June 30, early match doors open at 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m. match start; late match doors open 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m. match start;
  • Wednesday, July 1, early match doors 11:30 a.m., noon start; late match doors 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m. start;
  • Thursday, July 2, early match doors 2:30 p.m., 3 p.m. start; late match doors 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m. start;
  • Friday, July 3, early match doors 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m. start; late match doors 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. start; and
  • Saturday, July 4, early match doors 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m. start; late match doors 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m. start.

The watch party designated location is at the King of Prussia Mall lot located next to True Food Kitchen. It will offer a “vibrant setting designed for fans of all ages,” the board pledges. The events are being sponsored by the board, the mall, and Rising Sun Presents.

Get Registered Online

So, how do you gear up for an incredible Montco party viewing experience? The board says:

  • Guest online registration will be available here;
  • Registrations will result in an “event RSVP (or) ticket;”
  • Registrants are limited to a maximum of eight registrations;
  • All those registered must be age 21 or older, unless minors are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian;
  • A maximum of six minors will be allowed per parent or guardian;
  • The event will be held rain or shine; and
  • All participants must at all times comply with the board’s “Event Code of Conduct.”

The mall envisions “the ultimate free family-friendly outdoor soccer fan zone … where fans of all teams can gather, cheer, and celebrate their favorite athletes together.” Several food and beverage trucks will sell products on-site. They will serve beverages in clear cups, and food in unbranded packaging, the mall adds.

A dedicated family and kids’ activity zone also will be available.

Additionally, as thank you for registering and visiting King of Prussia, the mall reports its concierge has a free gift for registrants while supplies last. Pick up a gift at the concierge desk, on the mall’s Level 2, by presenting event RSVPs or tickets there.
