Downtown Car Show Returns Saturday; Vendors Ready

POTTSTOWN PA – Fifteen vendors will line up Saturday (June 6, 2026) to meet and cater to the huge crowd of visitors expected for this month’s “Pottstown Nights Car Show,” from 3-9 p.m. on East High Street downtown.

Show organizer the Red Horse Motoring Club promotes this second of its five events as the borough’s “Summer Starter.” It is likely to be aptly titled. The National Weather Service local forecast calls for only a scant (10%) chance of rain, with day-long temperatures ranging between 68 and 86 degrees.

Spectator admission to the show is free, and Red Horse says it expects thousands of people to attend during the six-hour period. Car owner participation is free, too. “Whether you’re rolling in a classic, a lifted truck, or a custom bike; if it has wheels, we want to see it,” the club encourages.

The show features borough blocks filled with shiny, well-detailed and -maintained, and highly prized automobiles owned by both area residents and others from a distance. It is open to all cars, trucks and motorcycles of all makes and models with no entry fees, the club reports. On show days vehicles will enter at Queen and South Hanover streets, or at both ends of blocked-off East High.

Those driving on East High Street downtown during Saturday afternoon should be aware a multi-block portion (from Manatawny Street to Evans Street) will be closed at 1 p.m.

Come For Cars, Stay For Food

“Come for the cars, (and) stay for the food!,” Red Horse suggests. A wide variety of vendors has signed up to meet dining, drink, and other needs.

This month’s list includes 5ives Flavors, J.J. Rattigan Brewing, PAL Firebirds, Super Softee, Sunset Hill Brewing Co., Bonnie Weston Realty, Joe’s Famous Lemonade, Malizzi’s Cakes, Barista Lisa’s Coffee, Mister Softee, Cornerstone Caregiving, Iron Gate Biergarten, Highly Flavored BBQ, Carnival Cravers, and Artillery Brewing Company.

The club also has attracted several show sponsors. They include Miller Mountain High Performance, Classic Auto Mall, Soomer Labs, Rubright Racing, Rendezvroom Auto Care, Jerdon Enterprises Inc., Bootstrap Media Group, and Merchant Guild Services. More are being sought. Information about sponsor opportunities is available online.

Remaining dates in the 2026 car show series are scheduled for three “first Saturdays:” July 11, Aug. 1, and Sept. 5.
