POTTSTOWN PA – Advance registration is open now for the 2026 edition of the Pottsgrove Recreation Board’s annual Summer Playground, with plenty of activity and fun over five consecutive weeks.
Additionally, the board is offering youth basketball classes beginning March 23; a free Summer Playground try-out experience in April, and a first aid and cardiopulmonary training certification class in May.
The board is the central recreational organization of Lower, Upper, and West Pottsgrove townships. It provides recreation opportunities for Pottsgrove communities’ residents. Funding is provided by the three townships and the Pottsgrove School District.

The Summer Playground, for students coming into 1st through 8th grades, is scheduled to operate Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon for five weeks between June 15 to July 16. It includes daily themed activities and games, arts and crafts, outdoor play and sports, and snacks like pretzels and water ice.
