POTTSTOWN PA – The 2026 edition of “Summer Adventure Camp,” conducted by the Pottstown Parks and Recreation Department, is ready to help children and grandchildren get the most from their summer vacations.
The camp, intended for those between the ages of 5 (who have completed pre-kindergarten class) and 12, this year will be held at Lincoln Elementary School, 461 N. York St. Its programs will run eight weeks, from June 9 to Aug. 1, with weekly 3- and 5-day attendance options. Part-time schedules must be consistent, with same attendance days each week.
Summer Camp represents “a great opportunity for children and youth to build socialization skills and make new friends,” the department says. Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided daily, under the Pennsylvania Summer Feeding Program.
The camp program operates Mondays through Fridays. Camper drop-offs are anticipated from 8-8:45 a.m., and pick-ups from 4-4:45 p.m.
Registration is available online. It opens March 9, and remains open until all spaces are filled, according to the department newsletter. For borough residents, 3-day tuition costs $90 weekly, and 5-day is set at $130 weekly. For residents outside the borough, 3-day costs are $100 weekly, and $145 weekly for 5-day schedules.

Games, Activities, Crafts, and Water Play
Programming this year offers inclusive outdoor games, team-building activities, daily crafts, and water-play games for hot summer afternoons. Trips to the North End Swim Club are scheduled every Friday.
A few special trips and programs also are on the schedule They include a trip to the Reading Phillies, and a day at the Elmwood Park Zoo. Additional charges apply for most trips.
