BOYERTOWN PA – Local businesses, organizations, and community groups are again invited to make the holiday season shine brighter than ever, as the annual Festival of Trees returns to Boyertown Area Multi-Service.
The event, a Boyertown tradition, observes its 19th year during 2025. It transforms the Multi-Service building, 200 W. Spring St., into what its staff describes as “a dazzling winter wonderland” that demonstrates “creativity, teamwork, and the true spirit of giving.”
Participants are asked to financially sponsor and decorate beautifully lit Christmas trees, each reflecting a unique sponsor-chosen theme. From traditional holiday elegance to whimsical and imaginative designs, every tree tells its own story while adding magic to the total display.

The trees go on public display Dec. 5 and 6 (Friday and Saturday). Those interested in sponsoring a tree should hurry before opportunities are gone. Trees are available in heights from 6-to-10 feet at varying levels of sponsorship. Each tree is pre-lit, and ready for decorating.

A Team-Building Exercise
Sponsoring a tree is more than an act of generosity, according to Multi-Service representatives. They say it also presents “a fun and memorable team-building experience.”
Groups collaborate to select a theme, purchase decorations, and design their tree from top-to-bottom. From brainstorming creative ideas to hanging the final ornament, the process is said to encourage teamwork, laughter, and camaraderie.
Some participants report the project not only strengthens workplace relationships, but also sparks a friendly competition to see which tree will shine the brightest.
Beyond the festivities, however, the Festival of Trees directly supports vital programs of Boyertown Area Multi-Service. Sponsorship proceeds provide funding for essential community services. They include Preston’s Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, senior programs, and case management services for local families-in-need.
“Come be part of a joyful tradition,” Multi-Service urges prospective sponsors. The event, it adds, “brings people together, spreads holiday cheer, and supports neighbors in need … one beautiful tree at a time.”
