Artist Joseph Harkanson describes earlier art works in a YouTube video from Anno Artem
POTTSTOWN PA – Works created by Pottstown-based visual artist and musician Joseph Harkanson are the focus of a current exhibit at the Anno Artem art gallery and studio, 440 S. Hanover St.
Harkanson “explores the underlying patterns of the natural and built worlds through two complementary bodies of work,” the gallery explains. They are “meticulously detailed pen-and-ink drawings, often developed through patient pointillism;” and “luminous paintings on glass that shift with the light.”
“Precision meets flow; structure meets rhythm,” the gallery adds. Anno Artem is representing the artist, a Philadelphia native also “shaped by time” in Hawaii and Montreal.”
