LIMERICK PA – A Limerick Township Board of Supervisors’ hearing, to determine if a restaurant liquor license can be transferred to the proposed Sheetz convenience store at 454 W. Ridge Pk., is scheduled for Aug. 5 (2025; Tuesday).
The 7 p.m. hearing is free to attend and open to the public, a legal notice published Tuesday (July 22) states.
Supervisors will “receive comments and recommendations of interested individuals residing within the township concerning the applicant’s intent” to obtain and use the license, it adds. Sheetz representatives also will be offered an opportunity to describe its business and license plans.
The board could make its decision on the request the same night, the notice indicates. “The township must determine whether the request would have an adverse effect on the welfare, health, peace and morals of the township and its residents,” it explains.
The license is currently assigned to, and if supervisors approve would be transferred from, Bella Napoli LLC, 1125 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler PA (Upper Dublin Township).
A complete copy of the Sheetz Inc. liquor license transfer application is available for free public review at the township municipal building, 646 W. Ridge Pk. It’s open Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
