Coming to Sellersville, Take Your Pick of Great Artists

April 30, 2025

SELLERSVILLE PA – Bucks County native Langhorne Slim, country roots rocker Sam Morrow, and celebrated comedian Paula Poundstone are among the latest acts announced Tuesday (April 29, 2025) as scheduled for shows in coming months at Sellersville Theater, 24 W. Temple Ave.

Coming Between June and September

WXPN Radio will welcome Langhorne Slim to the stage on June 22 (Sunday) at 8 p.m. He’s spent more than two decades blending musical styles to create a sound that is raw, powerful, and uniquely his own. His talent forges “a deep connection with audiences,” the theater says, in “performances exude both edge and intimacy.”

The Divine Hand Ensemble arrives July 26 (Saturday) at 8 p.m. Led by concert thereminist Mano Divina Giannone, it will unveil their new album, Viva Astor! 7 Tangos by Piazzolla. The release honors Astor Piazzolla’s fusion of tango, jazz, and classical music. Its performances blend classical strings, harps, vibraphone, and accordion with the haunting theremin.

Morrow, and The Jeremy Edge Project, appear July 29 (Tuesday). “Morrow has built a distinctive sound by blending roadhouse rock, bluesy R&B, and country-fried funky-tonk into … a gritty style shaped by life on the road,” the theater reports. His latest album, “On The Ride Here,” is said to channel Morrow’s energy while bridging his country roots and rock-driven evolution.

Hüsker Dü’s Bob Mould takes his electric guitar into the theater on Aug. 2 (Saturday) at 8 p.m. His 15th solo album, “Here We Go Crazy,” strips his sound to what the theater calls “its raw essentials, blending melody, emotion, and urgency.” The album “channels both turbulence and hope, delivering a visceral, cathartic listening experience,” it adds.

Poundstone, known for sharp observational humor and legendary wit, lands at the theater Sept. 26 (Friday) at 8 p.m. It acknowledges “her distinct comedic style,” and notes that Poundtone has used it to build “a celebrated career spanning stand-up, television, radio, books, and film.” Catch her online podcast, “Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone.”
