POTTSTOWN PA – Looking for fun stuff to do this weekend, the weather not withstanding? There’s plenty in western Montgomery, eastern Berks, and northern Chester counties.

Some weekend events are free. Some have fees (labeled as “ticketed”). Some have limitations, registrations, or other conditions. Some may be affected by weather conditions (hint: if unsure, call before you go). Each weekend listing includes a link for more information.

Friday, April 19

  • Exhibit: “Jamie Wyeth: Unsettled,” 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., ticketed, tracing a persistent vein of intriguing imagery in the career of renowned artist Jamie Wyeth, on display through June 9 at the Brandywine Museum of Art, 1 Hoffman’s Mill Rd., Chadds Ford PA
  • Jurassic Quest, noon to 8 p.m., ticketed, an “interactive dinosaur experience” with ride-able dinosaurs, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities, a soft play area for youngsters, bounce houses, inflatable attractions, and photo opportunities; registration online, held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Ave., Oaks PA
  • Concert: “Ursinus Wind Ensemble and Chamber Music,” starts at 7:30 p.m., free, in Bomberger Auditorium on the campus of Ursinus College, 601 E. Main St., Collegeville PA

Saturday, April 20

  • Jurassic Quest, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., ticketed, an “interactive dinosaur experience” with ride-able dinosaurs, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities, a soft play area for youngsters, bounce houses, inflatable attractions, and photo opportunities; registration online, held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Ave.,

Main St., Trappe PA
  • Philadelphia Home Show, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., free with online registration only and ticketed at the door, pass valid for e-mail recipients and all their guests; reported to be the last such show of the season, at the Philadelphia Convention Center, Hall G, 1101 Arch St., Philadelphia PA
  • Exhibit: “eARTh & Climate”, Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 2 p.m. until April 21, free, annual exhibition of artworks that feature the environment, at Studio B Fine Art Gallery, 39A E. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown PA
  • Concert: “Voices of Ursinus ” starts at 4 p.m., free, in Bomberger Auditorium on the campus of Ursinus College, 601 E. Main St., Collegeville PA

  • Valley Forge 5-Mile Revolutionary Run, 6:30-10:45 a.m., ticketed, a fund-raiser to benefit Valley Forge National Historical Park, on a USAF-certified course that traverses the scenic park, accompanied also by virtual runs, park roads will be closed to vehicles during the event, at the park, 1400 N. Outer Line Dr., King of Prussia PA,
  • Jurassic Quest, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., ticketed, an “interactive dinosaur experience” with ride-able dinosaurs, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities, a soft play area for youngsters, bounce houses, inflatable attractions, and photo opportunities; registration online, held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Ave., Oaks PA

The PCTV Network. PCTV, headquartered in Pottstown, provides local television programming in western Montgomery, northern Chester, and eastern Berks counties.
