Expect Resurfacing Next Week in Green Lane, Marlborough

Expect Resurfacing Next Week in Green Lane, Marlborough

April 5, 2024

KIN OF PRUSSIA PA – Resurfacing work on portions of state-maintained highway in Green Lane Borough and Marlborough Township are scheduled in the coming week.

The operations are part of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation projects planned in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties, the department’s King of Prussia-based District 6 office reported. They involve more than 200 miles of state road, it added.

  • The list includes milling and paving in Green Lane and Marlborough, the department said in a media release. It will require a lane closure Wednesday through Friday (April 10-12, 2024) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, on Upper Ridge Road between Route 29 and Route 63.

Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. Slowdowns are likely to occur, it noted. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.

Under these projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt. It is intended to seal the roads, and provide drivers with a safe, smoother-riding surface.
