Scheduled are:

  • In New Hanover on weekdays from Monday (Oct. 9, 2023) through Oct. 17 (Tuesday), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., drivers should prepare for a lane closure on Route 663 between Hoffmansville and Hill roads for Americans With Disabilities curb construction;
  • In Charlestown from Monday through Friday (Oct. 9-13) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 29 between Aldham Road and Dickson Drive, for high friction surface treatment; and
  • In Lower Pottsgrove on Saturday (Oct. 14) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., a lane closure with flagging on Armand Hammer Boulevard between the U.S. Route 422 Interchange and Medical Drive, for bridge inspection.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. PennDOT acknowledged slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather. The activities are part of PennDOT’s program to ensure state highway overall safety and condition.
