Ciresi 2nd Pottstown Satellite Office Opening Tuesday

Ciresi 2nd Pottstown Satellite Office Opening Tuesday

October 8, 2023

POTTSTOWN PA – A new borough-based satellite office for 146th District state Rep. Joe Ciresi will officially open Tuesday (Oct. 10, 2023) in Room 119 at North Hall on the Montgomery County Community College Pottstown campus, 16 E. High St. A Ciresi representative will be available there to offer constituent services Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 3 p.m., his newsletter reported.

Free parking for visitors is available at the college South Hall on College Drive. The walk from the lot to North Hall is relatively short and easy. As an alternate choice, paid metered parking is also available on High Street.

The new office is in addition to the one already established on the third floor of the TriCounty Active Adult Center, 288 Moser Rd., also in Pottstown. Service reportedly will continue to be offered there on a part-time basis during Mondays and Wednesdays.

Regular constituent services from Ciresi include applications for SEPTA senior Key cards, the state’s property tax and rent rebate programs, unclaimed property, birth and death certificates, and others.

If you need a notary public

Notary services are available as well from Ciresi’s office, but visitors must call ahead at 484-200-8265 to ensure a public notary will be in the satellite location on the day needed.

Individuals who need their signatures on a document to be notarized must sign the document in person in the presence of the notary. They also must present the notary with photo proofs of identity, including a valid driver’s license, photo ID card, or passport.

Ciresi’s staff cannot notarize certain types of documents. They include wills, powers of attorney, vehicle titles, and the Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9.
