Resurfacing Lane Shift Continues in Lower Salford

August 8, 2023

LOWER SALFORD PA – As resurfacing operations continue this week in Lower Salford Township, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said a lane shift will persist through Friday (Aug. 11, 2023). Affected daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. are Haldeman and Bergeys Mill roads, between Red Fox Run Road and Brandon Lane.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. Backups and delays may occur, PennDOT said. The schedule depends on acceptable weather.

The work, PennDOT said, is being conducted as part of an effort to address storm water management on more than 90 state highways across Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, and Delaware counties. Highway Materials Inc. of Flourtown is general contractor for the $14.9 million project.
