BETHLEHEM PA – Pottstown area country singer Kendal Conrad will make a return to the Musikfest stage in Bethlehem during August, as one of two opening acts for headliner Darius Rucker on Aug. 3 (2025; Sunday).

Musikfest is the annual flagship event of ArtsQuest, a Lehigh Valley non-profit that provides arts, culture, and educational programming. Last year, 11 consecutive days of Musikfest concerts attracted audiences totaling more than 1 million people. This year’s shows are scheduled for July 31 to Aug. 10.

Conrad will join Nashville-born country artist Austin Williams as they prepare the fourth-show crowd for Grammy-winning soloist Rucker, formerly of Hootie and the Blowfish. Conrad’s first appearance at Musikfest was with singer Keith Urban during August 2014.

Eleven Headliners, Something for Everyone

ArtsQuest announced its current list of Musikfest headliners and opening performers Tuesday (July 8). It includes:

  • Megan Moroney on July 31, with an opening act yet to be announced;
  • Riley Green on Aug. 1, opened by John Morgan;
  • The Avett Brothers on Aug. 2, opened by Scythian;
  • Rucker on Aug. 3, opened by Williams and Conrad;
  • The Black Crowes on Aug. 4, opened by The Band Feel;
  • Chicago on Aug. 5, with an opening act yet to be announced;
  • Nelly on Aug. 6, opened by Don Louis and Manifest! HB;
  • Gilberto Santa Rosa on Aug. 7, with an opening act yet to be announced;
  • Third Eye Blind on Aug. 8, opened by Boys Like Girls;
  • Jordan Davis on Aug. 9, opened by Lily Rose; and
  • The Black Keys on Aug. 10, opened by The Velveteers.

“ArtsQuest is thrilled to share the dynamic lineup of artists who will kick off each night of headlining performances,” its release says. “From rising stars to regional favorites, these openers promise to set the tone for the biggest festival of the summer,” on the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza.

Musikfest tickets are available for purchase online. The event additionally includes dozens of free live music concerts of up to 90 minutes in length, and covering a wide variety of genres, presented at 20 different local sites.
