Car-spotting is only half the fun available with the show’s free public admission. Throughout the day, visitors also can enjoy what the foundation says will be a variety of “music, an abundance of amazing raffles, food/refreshments, and a fun-filled atmosphere.”
Additionally, the show features sponsors who will display prized vehicles, trucks, and demo equipment. Past events presented engaging features that include the H&K Group simulator, Allen Myers tractors, and others.
Advance registration for competitors, at a cost of $20, is available online at on the foundation’s website. Space is limited, and registration will not be available at the event. Show cars are expected to complete their check-ins from 9-10:30 a.m.
Six Judging Categories; Hand-Made Trophies
It features six “Best Of” judging categories for owners who enter their vehicles. They are street rods, antique-classic-survivor, muscle cars, trucks, imports, and custom/modified bodies. Only pre-registered vehicles are eligible for awards.
First- and second-place trophies for each category will be created by hand among students in the center’s welding, auto body, and machining programs.
Funds raised by the foundation are used to enhance services and programs at the center, which is attended in part by students of the Perkiomen Valley and Methacton school districts.
