POTTSTOWN PA – The fourth annual REACH Conference, designed to help those seeking assistance to achieve their goals, will be held Sept. 26 (2024; Thursday) by the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce.
The REACH program, re-launched in 2019, and its conference have several aims, chamber President Eileen Dautrich says. It hopes “to take the hand of someone who needs help and pull them up. Also reaching out to share our time, talents, and gifts with others;” and “to reach out when we need help, and for our program to help” participants meet their goals, she explains.
The day will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve, 100 RiverCrest Dr., Phoenixville PA. It includes a presentation of awards, networking opportunities, and three speakers, the chamber adds. Tickets are now available for online purchase.
Conference speakers will encourage attendees to live by its theme, “We REACH.” Keynote speaker Jen Croneberger, chief inspiration officer and founder of JLynne Consulting Group and the HUMAN Leadership Institute, will discuss BRAVE Human Leadership. The acronym stands for belonging, resilience, authenticity, vulnerability, and empathy.
Also speaking at the conference will be Dr. Jo-Elle Mogerman, the first female president and CEO of the Philadelphia Zoo; and Dr. Radha Pyati, the chancellor and dean of Penn State Berks. Both will talk about their career journeys, and offer tips and lessons they have learned to reach out for career guidance and to lead others.
Network with 150 professionals
Conference tickets offer access to all three speakers, networking with 150 professionals to connect and build relationships, lunch, and a networking dessert reception. Also provided are a commemorative gift, raffle prizes, and presentation of the Chamber’s REACH Awards.
Awards will be presented for Outstanding Young Professional, Woman of Influence and Empowerment, and Business of Influence and Empowerment.
The Master of the REACH Award, the chamber’s annual surprise recognition, will also be presented to someone who goes above and beyond to promote, invite, and support women. Nominations for Master of the REACH award are being accepted by the chamber through Aug. 23.
Those who attend are being asked to bring a donation for a collection for “period poverty,” the inability to afford toiletries and items such as tampons and pads. Forty million around the world are affected by “period poverty,” the chamber reports. The collection promotes REACH’s mission to help others.
The conference is sponsored by CODY Systems, Cedarville Engineering Group LLC, and Diamond Credit Union.
