BOYERTOWN PA – Hundreds of people are already signed up to attend the self-guided 2024 Regional Garden Tour across Boyertown and Pottstown. Its registered guests have an opportunity, tour sponsors say, to wander through the region’s most beautiful and lovingly tended gardens.
Both time and tickets still remain available for even more people to join the fun.
This year’s Regional Garden Tour is scheduled for July 13 (Saturday) from 8 a.m. to noon. Tickets can be purchased in advance online, or in person on the day of the tour if available. Depending on the options buyers select, they may also enjoy a post-tour lunch that begins at 12:15 p.m. at Brakeman’s Cafe, 56 S. Washington St., Boyertown.
The tour day enjoyment starts at 8 a.m., beneath the awning at 724 N. Adams St. in Pottstown. That’s when and where participants can pick up, until 10 a.m., their descriptions of the gardens on display, as well as a map of tour sites.
Ticket-holders are free to visit any of the gardens during the four-hour Saturday operating period. Those who added lunch to their tickets should head for Brakeman’s Cafe as the tour ends.
- Tickets purchased in advance online without lunch cost $20;
- Tickets purchased in advance online with lunch cost $50. Tips are not included; and
- Tickets bought in person without lunch the day of the event cost $25.

Summer Solstice Celebrated
Supporters of Mosaic Community Land Trust celebrated the Summer Solstice during a June 21 (Saturday) party scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Proceeds benefitted the organization’s work. The organization focuses on the need for permanently affordable housing, the regional garden contest and tour, and arts events and education efforts.
Donations of any amount are appreciated and allow Mosaic to meet its goals. They can be offered online. It also welcomes volunteer time, and donations of art supplies, seeds, plants, and building materials.
