Chamber’s annual dinner Wednesday

“Building relationships” is the theme of the chamber’s 2024 annual dinner, which is scheduled to be held Wednesday (April 24, 2024) from 5-8:30 p.m. at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve, 100 Rivercrest Dr., Phoenixville PA.

New York Times best-selling author Steve McClatchy, who also is president of Alleer Coaching & Training, will present the dinner’s keynote topic, “The Games We Play at Work and In Life.”

Learn from McClatchy “what can destroy a relationship and how to build them up,” the chamber website reported. “We are all familiar with how to play games. When we play games, we let our ego turn our basic need to win into a competition, which is weakening relationships. “Winning” is not always the best way to play the game in every situation. There are strategies to relationships that you can learn to help you win professionally and in life,” it added.

The event is planned to include a cocktail networking reception with hors d’oeuvres, awards presentations, McClatchy’s keynote address; a dual-plated dinner of short ribs and parmesan-crusted chicken, smashed potatoes, asparagus, rolls and butter; a grand prize drawing for the chamber’s “Participation Punch Card Challenge,” a dessert reception, and what it called an “amazing gift basket raffle.”
