Always Wanted to Square Dance? Try It Mondays in April

March 27, 2024

LANSDALE PA – Put on your dancin’ shoes! Adults and seniors are invited to free “Spring Fling Square Dance” introductory events, scheduled on two remaining Mondays (April 15 and 22, 2024) from 7-9 p.m. each at Christ United Methodist Church, 1020 S. Valley Forge Rd.

There’s no experience needed, organizers promise, just a desire to have fun, to exercise the mind and body, and to learn some new steps. There’s also no need to get gussied up, they added; casual dress is encouraged. Singles are welcome, as well as those who bring a partner or a friend.

The dance party is hosted by the Perky Promenaders Square Dance Club. Ted Rotwitt serves as the nights’ square dance caller. Attendance is welcome on any of the three nights. Visitors may want to call 610-584-3744 to confirm time and details in advance of their intended arrival.

For more information, also call 610-584-3744 or send an e-mail to hand@perkyprom.org.

The church is located on Route 363, across from Brittany Point Estates. It’s about a 26-mile drive from Pottstown, a 23-mile drive from the Boyertown area, and a 17-mile drive from the Upper Perkiomen Valley area.
