POTTSTOWN PA – These early week items of entertainment and civic interest are scheduled for Monday through Thursday (March 4-7, 2024), and have been publicly announced.

Monday, March 4

  • Weekly Constituent Service, 9 a.m. to noon, free, for voters in the 24th PA Senatorial District by Sen. Tracy Pennycuick’s staff, or call 215-541-2388, in North Hall at the Pottstown campus of Montgomery County Community College, 16 E. High St., Pottstown PA
  • Philadelphia Flower Show, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., ticketed, nation’s largest and world’s longest-running horticultural event, conducted by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, with guided tours, special activities, programs, and events, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch St., Philadelphia PA

Tuesday, March 5

  • Philadelphia Flower Show, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., ticketed, nation’s largest and world’s longest-running horticultural event, conducted by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, with guided tours, special activities, programs, and events, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch St., Philadelphia PA

Wednesday, March 6

  • Healthy Women’s Conference & Expo, 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., ticketed (register online), described as “an afternoon of inspiration, education and networking” that covers emotional, physical, social, financial, environmental, spiritual, and intellectual aspects of health; moderated by former 6ABC Health and Medical Reporter Ali Gorman; with an experts question-and-answer session, exhibitor showcase, and healthy snacks and beverages buffet; at RiverCrest Golf Club, 100 Golf Club Dr., Phoenixville PA
  • Yoga at the Perk, 7-8 p.m., ticketed, all levels welcome, led by yogi Lisa Maida, hosted by the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy; participants must bring water, a yoga mat, and a towel; depending on weather yoga may be held indoors or outdoors, held at the conservancy, 1 Skippack Pike, Schwenksville PA

Thursday, March 7

  • Philadelphia Flower Show, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., ticketed, nation’s largest and world’s longest-running horticultural event, conducted by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, with guided tours, special activities, programs, and events, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch St., Philadelphia PA
  • Musical: “The Addams Family,” 7-9 p.m., ticketed (purchased online), a production of the Pottsgrove High School Theatre Company, described as “a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family,” featuring the talents of more than 80 students school staff members, and volunteers, at the high school, 1345 Kauffman Rd., Pottstown PA

The PCTV Network. PCTV, headquartered in Pottstown, provides local television programming in western Montgomery, northern Chester, and eastern Berks counties.
