POTTSTOWN PA – Thursday and Friday (Jan. 25-26, 2024) are the last opportunities to catch this year’s Members Winter Art Exhibit by the the Pottstown Area Artists’ Guild. Its annual display of Guild members’ art works is on exhibit in the North Hall Gallery at the Pottstown campus of Montgomery County Community College, 16 High St.
The exhibition is free to attend and open to the public, at the gallery from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Parking is available at the college’s South Hall on College Drive, with a short walk to the gallery entrance.
The non-profit Guild, founded in 1960, is dedicated to a mission of promoting, inspiring, and supporting “the artistic spirit within the community” in portions of Montgomery, Berks, and Chester counties that surround Pottstown, its website states. It periodically schedules a Masters of Art lecture series and art exhibitions, and collaborates on events with the college and local businesses.
Although attendance at Guild meetings and its lectures are free, membership is encouraged and new members are welcomed. Learn more about membership online.
