BOYERTOWN PA – “eARTh & Climate,” an annual exhibition of artworks that feature the environment, continues Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 2 p.m. or by appointment, through April 21 (2024) at the Studio B Fine Art Gallery, 39A E. Philadelphia Ave.
The exhibit is free to attend and open to the public.
It “offers a broad and open discussion about our earth, its ecosystem and life on it,” Gallery Director Susan Biebuyck said. “Mother Nature’s art and all expressions on our planet – of home, life, health, politics, race, religion, environment, gender, diet, industry, landscape, or anything in the universe – was open for artistic response in all media and genre of art.”
“Responses that encourage our need to respect and care for Mother Earth are an important part of this exhibit,” she added.
Juror for the exhibit was Ryan Fretz of Ryan Fretz Arts, an earth artist and longtime fixture of the Mt. Gretna PA community, with a bachelor of fine arts degree from Kutztown University. Working in multiple mediums, Fretz’s work seeks a synthesis between fine art, landscape design, and the natural world.
