POTTSTOWN PA – The 2024 Members’ Winter Art Exhibit, which displays the art works of members of the Pottstown Area Artists’ Guild, began Monday (Jan. 8, 2024) with a reception from 5-7 p.m. at the North Hall Gallery on the Pottstown campus of Montgomery County Community College, 16 High St.
The exhibition is free to attend and open to the public. It remains on display Monday through Friday daily at the gallery from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Jan. 28 (Sunday). Parking is available at the college’s South Hall on College Drive, with a short walk to the gallery entrance.
The gallery and the college will be closed Jan. 15 (Monday) for the Martin Luther King federal holiday.
The non-profit Guild, founded in 1960, is dedicated to a mission of promoting, inspiring, and supporting “the artistic spirit within the community” in portions of Montgomery, Berks, and Chester counties that surround Pottstown, its website states. It periodically schedules a Masters of Art lecture series and art exhibitions, and collaborates on events with the college and local businesses.
Although attendance at Guild meetings and its lectures are free, membership is encouraged and new members are welcomed. Learn more about membership online.
