AMITY TOWNSHIP PA – Daytime maintenance on a portion of state Route 662 may delay some traffic next week in Amity Township, according to the District 5 office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
PennDOT said its workers will create lane restrictions Monday through Friday (Jan. 2-5, 2024) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on Route 662, between Weavertown Road and Country Lane, for drainage work.
It reported delays in the area could be expected. All scheduled projects depend on acceptable weather. “Please use caution driving through the work zone,” PennDOT urged travelers.
District 5 covers Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, and Schuylkill counties.
