DOUGLASSVILLE PA – 84 Lumber, a supplier of building materials with 234 stores across the country – including two locally in Douglassville (Berks) and Allentown PA – said it plans to expand further west by opening several new operations in California and Arizona.
Three new California sites are being added to three others already established there. Another is planned in Nevada. A truss manufacturing plant and framing yard also are included in its California planning, and an Arizona component plant will enlarged.
Besides its stores and component shops, 84 Lumber operates 28 engineered wood product centers and 34 door shops. The company, founded in 1956, is headquartered in Eighty Four PA.
