EASTON PA – Crayola LCC, the crayon and art products manufacturer that also operates the popular-with-kids Crayola Experience creative play center in downtown Easton PA, said Tuesday (Oct. 24, 2023) it planned to color outside the lines with a venture in China.
A Crayola Experience will be part of a new international family entertainment center called Top Park, set to open during 2026 in Beijing. Its agreement with Chinese development partner Max-Matching Entertainments Co. Ltd. represents what the regional company said was its “first deal for an international Crayola Experience location.” Its value was not announced.
Its Easton center is 46 miles and slightly more than an hour’s drive northeast of Pottstown.
Crayola, a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards Inc., produces art tools, crafting activities, toys, digital platforms, content, and experiences for “all generations,” it said. The company operates four other Crayola Experience U.S. locations in Florida, Minnesota, Texas and Arizona.
