The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation plans to conduct line-striping activities in both directions on two separate sections of the four-lane highway. They are scheduled for:

- Sunday through Friday (July 9-14), overnights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings, between the Route 724-Phoenixville interchange and the Sanatoga interchange across Lower Pottsgrove Township.

Line striping work also will be the cause of a lane closure Sunday through Friday (July 9-14) overnights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Allentown Road between County Line Road and Route 63. It may affect drivers across portions of Salford, Franconia, and Towamencin townships.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. PennDOT said slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather. Its construction activities are part of the department’s program to ensure road safety and overall condition.
