BIRDSBORO PA – A first annual wreath class, in which participants can “discover the art of creating a stunning Williamsburg-inspired wreath,” is scheduled for mid-November in Birdsboro.
The event, conducted by the Heritage Art and Craft Studio, will be held Nov. 15 (Sunday) from 1-3 p.m. at the Daniel Boone Homestead, 400 Daniel Boone Rd. Instructors and studio co-owners Greg Geesaman and Peggy Allen-Geesaman will show those in attendance how “to craft a beautiful, aromatic wreath,” the homestead says.
The Williamsburg-inspired wreath combines herbs with seasonal elements. Its instructors consider it “perfect for enhancing your indoor or outdoor holiday decor.”
The project combines fresh, fragrant pine with natural and organic elements, harvested herbs, dried apple slices, and ribbon on a 14-inch grapevine wreath. Participants will also learn about growing, harvesting, and drying herbs, as well as gathering natural materials.
All materials and supplies are included. Class members can assemble their wreaths following provided examples, or are welcome to create their own unique arrangement.
