MCCC Hosts Pottstown Area Artists Guild Members’ Show

October 12, 2026

POTTSTOWN PA – In what is anticipated to be a showcase of inspiring regional artists, the Pottstown Area Artists Guild will present its annual artist membership show during November in the borough.

The Montco Cultural Center of Montgomery County Community College is hosting the exhibition Nov. 2 (2026; Monday) through Nov. 20 (Friday) in the North Hall Gallery at its Pottstown campus, 16 E. High St.

The exhibit will be introduced a day earlier, Oct. 30 (Friday), with a free and open to the public reception from 5-7 p.m., also in the gallery.

To help celebrate the Halloween season, visitors are invited to dress as their favorite artist or work of art. The event will include food and live music, the college reports. Free parking is available in the nearby college lot at 101 College Dr.

“Visitors to the exhibit can expect a dynamic display of fine art,” Guild Show Chair Sabah Farooq says. It will display more than 70 pieces “spanning multiple mediums, including oils, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, photography, ceramics and more,” she adds.

Reception Food Drive Benefits Cluster

At the reception, the Guild will conduct a non-perishable food drive to benefit the food pantry at the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities. Visitors are asked, if possible, to make a donation from the cluster’s online list of shelf-stable food items.

A “Gallery Talk” event, like this one held earlier, is scheduled for Nov. 14 (Saturday) from 2-4 p.m.

In addition to the reception, a “Gallery Talk” event is scheduled for Nov. 14 (Saturday) from 2-4 p.m. It will feature five artists speaking for five minutes about their art, their journey, and their passion.

The Pottstown Area Artists Guild is a dedicated community of artists and art supporters. It members are committed to promoting the visual arts, and enriching the cultural landscape of the Pottstown region, through exhibitions and community outreach.

Admission to North Hall Gallery on the Pottstown campus is free. Operating hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The gallery is closed Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
