POTTSTOWN PA – Pottstown’s Driver License and Photo Center, operated at 204 Shoemaker Rd., will be closed Oct. 10-12 (2026) in observance of the Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples Day holiday.
Similar closures will occur at local PennDOT centers in Harleysville, King of Prussia, Norristown, and Reading, and others remaining statewide.
Customers may still obtain a variety of driver and vehicle products and services from PennDOT online. They include all forms, publications and driver training manuals. There are no additional fees for using online services, the department says.
Driver and vehicle online services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Offered online are driver’s license, photo ID and vehicle registration renewals; driver-history services; changes of address; and driver licensing and vehicle registration restoration letters.
Also available are the ability to pay driver license or vehicle insurance restoration fees; obtain driver license and photo ID duplicates; and schedule driver exams.
