DOUGLASSVILLE PA – 84 Lumber has been named to a Newsweek magazine list of “America’s Most Patriotic Companies 2026,” the company says. A privately held supplier of building materials and manufactured components, 84 Lumber operates a yard and store at 1484 Benjamin Franklin Hwy.

The magazine reports its “recognition honors 500 employers that put patriotism into action by supporting service members, veterans, and American communities, while demonstrating a strong commitment to ethical standards.” The company says it supports and contributes to military families and veterans’ organizations. It also recognizes local service and sacrifice in community engagement programs.

The Newsweek list “is based on a comprehensive study conducted by Plant-A Insights Group,” it notes. In creating it, Plant-A reportedly relied on research, media monitoring, and a nationwide survey of more than 20,000 Americans.
