MCCC Hosts 59th Student Art Exhibition April 8-30

March 15, 2026

BLUE BELL PA – Works of art that demonstrate the creativity and talent of fine arts students attending Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) will soon be on public display.

The college’s 59th Blue Bell Student Art Exhibition is scheduled to be held April 8-30 (2026) in the Fine Arts Center Gallery on the Blue Bell campus, 340 DeKalb Pk. An opening reception is set for April 8 (Wednesday) from 5-7 p.m., with an awards presentation at 6 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public, and parking also is free.

This annual celebration of the imaginations of MCCC art students features about 80 new works in various media. They include drawing, painting, ceramics, prints, sculpture, and design. Awards in each category will be selected by guest juror Adrienne Jenkins.

Jenkins is the former director of Philagrafika 2010, and the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. She will also choose the Juror’s Choice, and the Bella Shen and Lucie S. Lee Best in Show awards.

The exhibit represents “a great chance for students to showcase the skills they’ve gained throughout the year, and have fun exhibiting together as a group,” says Patrick Rodgers, manager of the college’s Montco Cultural Center. “You’ll be amazed at the level of inventiveness each student brings to their work.”
