Pottsgrove Musical ‘Mamma Mia’ Runs Through Saturday

POTTSTOWN PA – “Mamma Mia,” the spring musical production of the Pottsgrove High School Theater Company, opens its run Thursday through Saturday (March 12-14, 2026) from 7-9 p.m. at the high school, 1345 Kauffman Rd.

The show features 22 hits of the Swedish pop group ABBA. It performed between 1972 and 2022, and is considered among the most commercially successful musical groups in history.

Mamma Mia! follows the story of 20-year-old bride-to-be Sophie, who secretly invites three men of her mother Donna’s past to her Greek island wedding. Her hope?: to identify her father. Chaos ensues as Donna is reunited with old flames and her former band mates.

Tickets are available now, online. They cost $10 for members of the public, $8 for Pottsgrove School District employees and students, and $5 for children ages 4 and younger.

At Work for Months

More than 80 people – district staff members, students, and other volunteers – have worked for months to ensure their audiences will be well entertained. The group was busy this week with tech rehearsals in preparation for Thursday’s opening night.

Cast members of Mamma Mia! include Addy Federoff, Aidan Hakes, Ainsley Lucas, Alexa Foyle, Alyssa Matarese, Aria Kohler, Ava Osorio, Ava Reicher, Benjamin Coelho, Brooke LaBombard, CaeLyn Liebel, Cara Harner, Claire O’Brien, Cristian Rivera, Diahara Sidibe, Ella Connor, Emily Delp, Evelyn Bortner, Ezekiel Sheard, Fiona Ross, Georgia Romano, Gia Albright, Gwyn Campbell, Haley Harner.

Also in the cast are Isabella Tillman, Julia Ross, Justin Maldonado, Kalena Derricotte, Kelsey Renner, Kendra Freas, Lindsay Palmer, Lucille Wilson, Luke Kerlin, Madelyn Kinzel, Maggie Tecce, Mairen Campbell, Makenna Wright, Nicholas Rowe, Noah Vogel, Patrick Coelho, Ray Gray, Robin O’Brien, Soleil Scruggs, Sophia Engleman, Tobias Mann, Wynter Liebel, and Zack Young.

On the directing team are Cierra Clemmer, Director; Amy McMahon, Assistant Director, Producer, and Vocal Director; Brianna Beitler, Choreographer; William Einhorn, Pit Director; Elizabeth Rodenbaugh, Costumes; Karoline Daly, Stage Director; Charlie Kleinschmidt, Carpentry; and Noah Golden, Sound & Lighting.

Members of the pit orchestra include Darien Horton, Lauren Houk, Natalie Shovelton, Gabby Boyer and Chris Houk.
