Pottstown Fire Birdz Opens Friday With Free Food

Pottstown Fire Birdz Opens Friday With Free Food

February 19, 2026

POTTSTOWN PA – Fire Birdz Hot Chicken, which serves up a spicy variety of Halal chicken entrées – from bites to sandwiches and baskets to sauce-dunked whole pieces – has exactly what Pottstown residents want.

That would be free food.

The restaurant will hold its afternoon-through-evening grand opening Friday (Feb. 20, 2026) from 3-8 p.m. at 149 E. High St., downtown and across the street from Smith Family Plaza. It’s giving away samples of its menu.

Those interested should be in line somewhat early. The owners report their offer is supported by a limited supply, and “once it’s gone, it’s gone.” Fire Birdz first 50 guests benefit from a free beverage.

Having an icy cold drink to accompany your Fire Birdz meal is likely a smart thing, too. The company happily acknowledges that heat is an integral part of its menu appeal. Its foods are “super crunchy on the outside,” and “juicy, tender, and packed with heat on the inside,” its Facebook post reports.

“One bite and you’ll know why people keep saying ‘Oh my God … this chicken is crazy’,” it adds.

A Menu Served in Your Choice of Heat

The menu includes chicken in sandwiches, wraps, tacos and other exteriors; as tenders, whole, or chopped pieces; with a line of sauces, and accompanied by fries if desired. Diners also can select their choice of spiciness: no spice, mild, hot, extra hot, and “reaper.”

Already heard about Fire Birdz impending arrival? That’s not surprising, given the fact that its persistent Instagram video reel promotions began 5 months ago, in October 2025. Find it also on TikTok and Facebook.

Like many social media retailers who have learned the value of repeatedly banging their drum long and loud, the company’s Instagram account alone now attracts thousands of followers.

Which could mean, if you’re motivated by a palatably hot freebie, you may want to plan arriving even earlier Friday.
