In this edition of Pottstown Foodie, Three Brothers Grill signage reports it plans to open a restaurant on North Charlotte Street. Chili’s restaurants in Pottstown and elsewhere are forming a new club; you can join if you’re 21 or older. Headed to Tropical Smoothie Cafe at the outlets? Bring your dog along.
Three Brothers Grill to Open on North Charlotte
POTTSTOWN PA – Three Brothers Grill – which currently operates in Pottstown at 1432 E. High St. – has posted signage that it is “coming soon” to 903 N. Charlotte St.
That’s the site of an iconic and uniquely shaped former restaurant, “The Cup”, on the corner of North Charlotte and Prospect streets.
Offering “authentic Mexican food,” Three Brothers Grill has expanded steadily over several years. It also serves from locations that include Collegeville, Phoenixville, Harleysville, and Spring City.
Three Brothers Grill management recently expressed appreciation for its broad customer base. “As we get ready to roll into the new year,” it wrote Dec. 31 (2025) in a Facebook post, “we have to stop and take a lot of time to give thanks to all of our loyal customers.” They have “become our family over all of these years,” and “continue to support us,” it said.

Worth noting: the signage outside The Cup property says Three Brothers Grill plans to sell pizza at the North Charlotte shop. It is a menu item for which earlier operators at the location, like Mannino’s Pizzeria, were well known.
The North Charlotte structure reportedly is one of several built by the Levengood Dairy “in the 1940s as an outlet for their milk and ice cream products,” according to the Virtual Globetrotting website, and YouTube’s “Retro Rest Stop.” Vintage photos of The Cup also were featured last August in a Facebook post by Amity Township 360.

Hooray for Margarita Day (Feb. 22), Chili’s Says

POTTSTOWN PA – National Margarita Day is being observed Feb. 22 (2026; Sunday). Margarita fans will tell you, however, that any day is a good one for their beverage of choice.
Texas-based Chili’s Grill and Bar restaurants – which operate locally in Pottstown at Upland Square Shopping Center, and in King of Prussia – seem to agree. The chain is using the occasion to introduce its Margarita of the Month Club. Prospective club members must be age 21 or older, and can join online for free.
Membership allows them to buy “a different culturally or seasonally inspired margarita each month” at a price of $6, Chili’s says. Members also can track their monthly margaritas, and will have access to limited-edition merchandise that lets them publicly reveal their obsession.
Chili’s claims it sold “nearly 30 million margaritas (or ‘margs,’ as it calls them) in 2025, more than any other restaurant brand in the U.S.”
Chili’s is offering three margarita specials on Feb. 22. They include:
- Tequila Classic, new classic marg made with Cuervo® Tradicional Blanco, triple sec, Chili’s house-made sour, and garnished with a lime wedge;
- StrawEddy Margarita of the Month, made of Lunazul Blanco® Tequila, Deep Eddy® Lemon Vodka, strawberry puree and house-made sour; and
- PATRÓN® Frozen Marg, which combines PATRÓN Silver Tequila, triple sec, lime juice and agave.

Tropical Smoothie Bliss for Your Dog, and You Too
POTTSTOWN PA – Treat yourself to a smoothie drink while you treat your pet too.

That’s a suggestion from Tropical Smoothie Café. It operates in Pottstown at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, as well as in Phoenixville and West Chester.
The beverage franchise is offering what it calls a limited-time “Fur-Ever Duo.” It remains available only until March 3 (Tuesday).
It combines a new “Puppy Power Bowl” for your best friend, with a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie for you. The bowl “features Greek yogurt topped with a peanut butter drizzle,” which dogs reportedly consider irresistible. The smoothie “blends dark and white chocolate with strawberries for a dessert-inspired blend.”
Both human and dog win in this deal, the company says. It adds that customer research prompted its offer.
A recent survey conducted by Tropical Smoothie found that 40% of single Americans with pets say they would rather spend Valentine’s Day with a four-legged companion than with loved ones, friends or family. The survey also heard half of pet owners say their pet provides more emotional support than any human.
