LIMERICK PA – Registration for “Summer Shamrock Camp” offerings, scheduled by the Limerick Township Parks and Recreation Department over seven weeks between June 15 and July 31 (2026), is officially open for children in grades 1-4. The registration period started Monday (Feb. 2) and continues until vacancies are filled.
Registrations are being accepted online, and also in person at the township building, 646 W. Ridge Pk., in the department’s second-floor offices. Be aware that camp programs have attendance limits and openings fill quickly, the department website notes.
Parents or guardians must be sure each child is registered for the correct camp. The department reports it cannot guarantee that, if a child is improperly registered, it will have space to move them into their age-appropriate camp.
Registrations can be made for all seven weeks, or for only individual weeks if desired. Field trip registrations for each camp, if available, can also be made at this time.
The registration webpage features a Camp Shamrock registration form, a field trips form, a parent handbook, and an activity calendar. Parents may find the seven-week list of activities helpful in planning for registration weeks. It also provides an itemized checklist of “friendly camp reminders” of which parents should be aware.

Also on the webpage, information is provided for the township’s Shamrock Adventures Camps. They are geared to students entering grades 5-7. A form, calendar, and handbook are provided for adventure registrants.
Finally the department, as it has in the past, is scheduling a series of specialty camps to appeal to specific interests or topics.
They generally range in length from two-to-four days, and cover art, science, history, cooking, and a variety of sports, among others. Parents and students may want to spend time browsing pages of the department’s digital catalog, titled the “2026 Summer Camp Guide.”
