St. Luke’s to Open Health Sciences College in May
BETHLEHEM PA – St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences, a newly created educational unit of St. Luke’s University Health Network, has begun accepting applications for its inaugural class. The college’s doors will open in May 2026, it reports.
Locally, the network currently operates two outpatient centers in Pennsburg, and a primary care office in Harleysville.
The college will share a campus with St. Luke’s University Hospital – Bethlehem. It will start by offering associate’s degrees in radiography and respiratory care, a program for registered nurses to earn their bachelor of science in nursing degrees, and general education coursework.
Respiratory care and radiography classes will be held at the Priscilla Payne Hurd Education Center, 801 Ostrum St. The RN-to-BSN program will be offered fully online, with a curriculum designed to support adult learners seeking non-traditional college experiences. Students also will have access to simulation and skills labs, study areas, and library resources.
Approval to establish the college was granted by the Pennsylvania Department of Education during October 2025.
St. Luke’s says its longstanding partnerships with regional colleges and universities will continue. For more information on the new college, or to apply, see its online Admissions & Financial Aid page.
