KING OF PRUSSIA PA – A 47-year-old King of Prussia man apparently played with a substantial sum at the slots Monday (Jan. 12, 2026) in the Valley Forge Casino and Resort, Pennsylvania State Police report. Unfortunately, he forgot to take his money with him.
The player accumulated $513.79 at a casino machine … but absentmindedly left the game, and the voucher representing his cash, behind. He soon remembered the voucher and rushed back to the game, but discovered the payout slip was already gone.
Troopers, working on behalf of the Harrisburg-based state Bureau of Gaming Enforcement, say an unidentified man (likely caught on video surveillance) “approached the machine, cashed out the voucher, and left the property.”
If they ever find him, the perpetrator could be charged with “theft of lost or mislaid property,” the report states.
