LIMERICK PA – A pipe replacement project on Game Farm Road, scheduled for Dec. 10 (Wednesday) through Dec. 19 (Friday), will affect travelers in both Limerick and Lower Frederick townships, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
During weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the road will be closed and detoured between Neiffer Road and Main Street, the department reports. As an alternative while the work proceeds, traffic will be re-directed over portions of Route 29 (Main Street), Route 73 (Big Road), Neiffer Road, and Game Farm Road.
All scheduled activities will depend on appropriate weather. Because of the restriction, drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area. Backups and delays are likely to occur, PennDOT warns.
